As technology continues to redefine business, geographic regions, and create borderless digital environments, it has become essential for IT executives to stay aware of global trends in order to integrate strategies into their operations. The Central CT SIMConnect is a single-day, executive-level event geared toward knowledge-sharing and networking for CIO's and their direct management teams. This allows your team to stay agile while maintaining your company’s competitive edge.
The opening keynote speaker this year is Julie Rieger, former President, Chief Data Strategist & Head of Media for 20th Century Fox Films. Julie’s entertaining discussion describes how she helped change the company’s strategy from simply producing movies to incorporating data into business decisions that ultimately led to the creation of Avatar, The Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rhapsody, X-MEN, Logan, and Deadpool.
After lunch, local IT executives will discuss their experience in the IT industry during an Executive Strategy Session. Closing the afternoon will be Special Agent for The Department of Homeland Security, Ryan Mahar. Ryan will be presenting Monsters Under the Bed, a session about internet safety with case studies showing how predators gain access to children online and highlight the strategies used to apprehend them.
Sponsoring vendors will have the opportunity to share information about problem-solving technology that local executives can use in their day-to-day business practices. Most sponsors use this opportunity to present themselves as experts who can be utilized to help with the issues that present themselves in the workplace. Vendors will also be recognized as organizations committed to supporting and helping grow the region's IT industry.
A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available, giving vendors the perfect opportunity to get face to face with top local business leaders. Non-sponsoring vendors, consultants, or sales representatives are NOT ALLOWED to register or attend, which is beneficial for attendees and also the sponsors underwriting the event.
