The highly anticipated Nevada IT Symposium is returning to Las Vegas on September 10th. This single-day event gives IT executives the opportunity to network, collaborate and educate with their peers. The Nevada IT Symposium is an exclusive executive-level event geared toward knowledge-sharing and networking for CIO's and their direct management teams. President and Chief Operating Officer of Las Vegas Golden Knights, Kerry Bubolz, will be the opening keynote speaker. Bubolz is entering his second season with the Golden Knights after leading the organization to a tremendously successful first campaign. Under Bubolz’s leadership, the organization achieved sponsorship revenue 20% higher than the forecasted goals for the 2017-18 season and ranked in the top tier among NHL teams in terms of per-game gate revenue. Wrapping up the morning will be the second keynote speaker, Scott Augenbaum. Scott is a retired Supervisory Special Agent for the FBI. After joining the FBI in 1988 as a support employee, Scott Augenbaum became a Special Agent in 1994 where he worked domestic terrorism, white-collar and hates crimes, and all computer crime investigations. In January 2018, he retired from the FBI and now shares his knowledge base to provide a unique training experience. Scott has responded to hundreds of data breaches and will share with the audience commonalities in almost all incidents and provide several takeaways to prevent organizations from becoming the next cybercrime victim.
Afternoon keynote speaker will be Vice President, Information Technology of the Oakland Raiders, Matt Pasco. Pasco's responsibilities include network architecture design, network device management, server infrastructure (physical and Virtual) and desktop team management for the Raiders' several divisions. Pasco will share the knowledge he has gained while working in the IT industry.
