The Siouxland IT Symposium will be taking place on November 1, 2018 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. By attending you will gain access to all 15 breakout sessions, 3 keynote speakers and the opportunity to connect with local IT executives from the region.
Starting the day off is innovative keynoter, futurist and professor Christina "CK" Kerley. CK has wowed audiences at Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Amazon, The United Nations, E*TRADE, and Best Buy. She is a faculty member at Rutgers Business School for Exec Ed, and her in-demand topics span Tech Megatrends, AI, Robotics, IoT, Health Tech, and Mobile. Her presentation will take you on a tour of the next-gen technologies that belong on your radar, in your plans, and at the forefront of your 2018-2020 IT goals.
The afternoon keynote speaker is Amie Konwinski, Founder and CEO of Smart Girl Society. Amie's presentation is titled "Parenting the iGen" and is a 45 minute keynote that is instrumental in educating and inspiring parents to have meaningful conversations and to make informed decisions about their family's technology and social media usage.
Ending the day is Rich Picciotto, the highest-ranking firefighter to survive the World Trade Center collapse, and the last fireman to escape the devastation. In a presentation modeled after his best-selling book, Last Man Down, FDNY Chief Richard Picciotto offers a tribute to the lives that were lost on September 11, 2001. His recount is not one of death and destruction, but a celebration of life and its unpredictable nature. Picciotto offers an eyewitness account of the defining historical event of our lives; his story is that of a man, a hero, and a tragic event that inspired a nation.
Among the world-class lineup of keynote speakers there are 15 breakout sessions covering topics on Data Management, DevOps, Business Intelligence and more. View the whole agenda here.
Registration is open to all IT practitioners from local companies. Vendors, service providers or consultants who are not sponsoring the event are not eligible to register or attend the Symposium. For sponsorship information please contact, Matt Emick, matt@efminc.com.
