SIM Boston is excited to announce Boston native, Mel Robbins, as the closing keynote speaker at the SIM Boston Technology Leadership Summit taking place on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Gillette Stadium.
Mel Robbins is a serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, internationally recognized social media influencer, and one of the most sought-after motivational speakers in the world.
Her digital platform inspires more than 20 million people a month with transformative videos, articles, positive psychology research, and inspiring content. Mel’s latest book, The 5 Second Rule, is a fixture on Amazon’s “Top Ten Most Read List” and one of the most successful audio books ever published. Her TEDx talk about change has more than 12 million views.
Jonathan Kraft will be the morning keynote presenter. Jonathan Kraft is President of The Kraft Group. The Kraft Group is a holding company whose businesses include Rand-Whitney Container, Rand-Whitney Containerboard, New-Indy Containerboard, International Forest Products, New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Boston Uprising, Gillette Stadium, and Patriot Place. Kraft is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of each of the Kraft Group’s operating businesses and outlining the plan for future growth and diversification of the Group. A graduate of Williams College, Kraft earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Executives, Trish Torizzo (VP & CIO) and Jack Lynch (President, CEO & Director), will be delivering the lunch keynote session. Trish joined HMH in 2017 as the Chief Information Officer where she focuses on leveraging the Company’s enterprise software solutions to streamline all internal operations. She started her technology career as a consultant with Accenture and went on to hold IT leadership positions at Boston Scientific, National Grid and Charles River Laboratories.
Jack joined HMH in 2017 as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director, bringing with him extensive background in the K–12 education and technology space. Prior to HMH, Jack was the CEO at Renaissance Learning, a leader in K–12 learning analytics, owned by Hellman & Friedman and Google Capital.

Registration is free and open to all SIM Boston members and all IT practitioners from other area companies. Vendors, service providers or consultants who are not active SIM Boston members, not sponsoring the event and not the lead IT practitioner/director for their firm are not eligible to register or attend the Summit.
